Skippers and others,

The Oz Race (females at the helm) is a bit less than 2 weeks away on Wednesday, July 7. If you are signed up for the Summer Series, then you don't need to fill out a Race Entry form, but I would like to know the name of your female that will be at the helm, so that I can get them on the scratch sheet and results. Please get the female name to me by Monday 7/5.

Roxanne and Buckaroo are inviting the crew of those boats that race in the Oz Race to a Ziti and Chianti party at the BYC clubhouse after the race. Of course, if you prefer to drink something else or want to help supply the Chianti, then bring your own drink.

The Oz NOR is attached.

Skippers and others,

If you haven't started racing yet this season or have raced but haven't completed a race entry form including signing the waiver, then be sure to do so before coming out to the race course. If you plan on not being in a series, then the cost is $20 per race.

Skippers & others,

Oops, thanks Jim Smyth for reminding me that I never sent out the Summer SI's. I've attached them now.

Remember we race in 3 divisions tonight:
4.1 Division I: Spinnaker boats having PHRF of 105 or less and rated with an Asymmetric Spin
4.2
Division II: Spinnaker boats having PHRF of 106 or more or rated with a Symmetric Spin
4.3
Division III: Non-Spinnaker boats
Of course there may be a unified start.

So far new racers are:
Plurabelle Div 3
5 Cent/Big Boat (Bud Rogers' J-109) Div 1
Swansway (I think Div 3)
Gulp (had a different name on it last week - Chris Dowling's Express 34) Div 2 probably, but no PHRF yet.

Yours in Sailing,

Joan Worthing
BYC Scorer
